Is Email Marketing Dead?
With the overcrowded inboxes and with the spam filters, of today’s world, many businesses often wonder if email marketing is still worth the investment.
Some people will even try to tell you that email marketing is dead!
In my opinion, email marketing is far from dead! Email marketing is an efficient way of marketing, and at a Much Lower cost than almost all other methods of marketing, today.
Infact, If you don’t believe in any Email Marketing, and you plan to market on the internet, in any
form of online business, I simply don’t know how you would move your business forward?
“Email marketing is a cost-effective solution that gives a business the power to reach customers in a meaningful way in a place where people spend a lot of time… their inbox,” said Ron Cates, director of digital marketing education for email marketing software firm Constant Contact.
Unlike other mediums of marketing and promotions, email marketing can be segmented in terms of its target audience, meaning that you can split people off into smaller, more focused lists.
This is a “Must Do” for Internet Marketers. The emails you send to leads to turn them into buyers, should be substantially different to the emails you send to your Buyers List.
Email marketing can also be utilized with just about any other marketing tactic, which makes email an important part of any integrated internet marketing campaign.
No matter what kind of business a marketer operates, email marketing can pitch it in an enticing and exciting style. Email marketing can help you establish authority in your field.
You also need to clearly identify your readers needs, to market to them effectively. This is almost impossible to do if everybody is in one list and receives the same emails.
Well-developed email marketing platforms such as Aweber, GetResponse, ARP Reach and many others make this task so easy, these days.
These emailing platforms provide tracking information on how many people opened an email, how many people clicked a link in an email, which specific link within the email was clicked, how many people complained that an email was spam or unsubscribed and, of course, whether your email even made it into your recipient’s inbox.
With that sort of feedback, you have all the tools to carry on with a hugely successful Email Marketing business.

Email marketing isn’t something marketers do just because they can and it’s easy.
They do it because it’s Still The Best way to keep in touch with your Leads and more importantly your Customers.
