The Quick Start Challenge – Week 2 – And first Video!

The Quick Start Challenge – Week 2 – And first Video!

So… We had another great Webinar for Week 2 of the Quick Start Challenge, the other day.

Dean had a few audio loss issues with GoTo Webinar, but that didn’t detract at all from the really valuable content. I learned a heap, and am thoroughly enjoying the training.

For our homework this week, Dean asked us to record a video, upload it on YouTube and include it in this post on our blogs. To meet this part of the challenge, I have done exactly that!

We are also doing some Free Traffic Generation to our blogs, using two methods:

Blog Commenting and Forum Posting.

The video is my first ever, and I can’t say that I’m really happy with it yet, but I am very happy with the fact that I broke out of my Comfort Zone, and did the task. I also know that this is just the first of many to come.

Quick Start Challenge – Week 2 – My Video

I hope you enjoyed it, and feel free to add your critiques or suggestions in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

Great video, you did it! Good to see you are already planning to do another one!

  • Hi Peter,

good job and a really nice website.

  • Hi Pete,

Great video review of the course. You could use that to ‘sell’ the course later on if you bought into the resale package.

You sound natural and confident without being brash – you could have a career in TV. So long as you’re having fun.

    Regards,

Nice video Pete. Well done for completing the week 2 challenge. I know how difficult this has been for a lot of us. The support from the group has helped a lot of us overcome our initial “fear” of being on camera. It certainly helps knowing we are not alone. Looking forward to week 3.

  • Well Done Pete,
good to see you, across there on the other side of the world!
I’m in UK. It’s a marvel how modern communications bring us all so close together and make it possible for such a disparate group as this one to get together and make things happen – we all have that “Make It Happen” attitude and I’m sure that success is in the air (waves).

Wow you ARE a natural in front of the camera. But what I liked best is you are very believable. Great job on on the progress you have made so far with the Quick Start Challenge, Pete. I look forward to following your progress.

I know… Right Pete. I wasn’t too pleased with the final outcome of my video either. Even now while looking at it though, I have some great ideas for when I shoot my next video. Thank you for sharing.

From the blogroll it looks like there were over 350 of us that actually made it this far. I am looking forward to seeing how we progress over the next 3 weeks, especially the part that wants us to write a good post every day. And as for doing a video? still it looks like you are off to a good start here.

    Hi Pete,

Great video. The only way we progress is to leave our comfort zones and challenge ourselves.

Hi, its Steven here from QSC,

Nice website. Congratulations on making your very first video! It was so natural. I look forward to seeing more of your posts. Cheers.

  • Hey Pete! The biggest step is taking action. You did a great job on the video. Love the accent by the way. Keep on taking those steps. We’re all in this together.

I am so glad you did a video as I expected to see the young guy and his girlfriend or wife that are on you home page. I actually believe your blog will be better with a photo of you on the front. You come across very well and you will appeal to a certain demographic. Many of us older folk might not be attracted to or understand where a young buck is coming from.

    You will do well

      Hey Graysen,
Good point, I’ll think on that some more.
The idea behind the young couple with a laptop on my header was actually meant to represent some happy customers, not myself. But you have raised a good point.
      Thanks,
      Pete

Great Video and a very relaxed presentation Pete. I don’t know about your journey but I’ve certainly found it a challenge getting to grips with all the details involved in getting online! Stay with it…
