I have recently received comments from a few members of my Traffic Exchange, asking why TE’s don’t work?

Hence my title to this post…

Do Traffic Exchanges work?

And the answer is a resounding…

YES!…. BUT, Only if you use them correctly!
Many people have been using TE’s for a long time, without any success, and left thinking, and worse…
telling others “Traffic Exchanges are no good, they just don’t work” or “I used TE’s for months and got no response at all”

The fact is that they DO work, and work very well, if you follow a few simple rules.

Some things that Don’t work in Traffic Exchanges:

1. DO NOT advertise Replicated Affiliate sites for your favorite program directly in the TE’s.

2. DO NOT try to sell anything directly in TE’s.

3. DO NOT use TE’s to promote your Paid to Promote sites, or Paid to Click programs. You need to aim higher than earning 0.02 cents or even less for your page views.

4. DO NOT place your surfing link from one TE into another TE. Your site will be removed, and you will be suspended.

So, What are TE’s good for?

The simple answer is to “Build and Brand”

That is, use TE’s to “Build your own emailing List”, and to “Brand Yourself”, or Brand your program/website, if you have your own program or website.

You can then use Your Mailing List to promote your sites, Affiliate Programs or whatever you like.

The great thing is that we can do both of these things at the same time, and Traffic Exchanges work GREAT for both!

How – you ask?

Use your Capture or Squeeze Pages, OR we use a Splash Page that points to your Capture or Squeeze Page, in the TE’s. While doing this you get Much Higher response rates, you build your Own Emailing List, and by including your real full name and your photo on these pages, you will Brand yourself.

OK, So What exactly are Splash Pages?

A Splash Page is a web page that is small and very fast loading, so when a member is surfing in their favorite TE, the page fully loads quickly and the viewer still has a few seconds to read your Splash page before the timer expires and they click on for their next credit.

The AIM of a splash page is to attract their attention away from their surfing, and create enough “curiosity” for them to click your link to find out more.

A Capture or Squeeze Page is a page that offers the reader something “of value” and convinces them to give up their Name and Email address into your subscribe form (Build your list) to get hold of what you’re offering.

Generally, I use Splash pages in the TE’s, pointing to my Capture pages, so I can have more space and hence more text, to “sell” the product I’m offering, on my Capture Page.

The unfortunate part of all this, is that a huge percentage of pages advertised in the Traffic Exchanges are still main affiliate links, yet there is SO MUCH information out there from almost all TE Admins pointing out how to do this right.

Your comments are always appreciated!

All The Best!

Peter.

Not just a title, but a serious question!

I have been promoting this for years, and so have
many other people, who know a lot more than me.
BUT, the message is NOT getting across!

Still there is a high percentage of Affiliate
Pages or main Product Sales pages in every TE
I surf.

If you’re not using Splash Pages in your TE
advertising, you are not getting the best results
you can, from your Traffic Exchange efforts.

OK, So What exactly are Splash Pages?

A Splash Page is a webpage that is small and
to find out more.

If You’re not using Splash Pages to advertise
in Traffic Exchanges, it’s time you start.
You will be amazed at the difference!

If you would like to know more about splash pages,
Squeeze Pages, where to get your own, and how
best to use them, I have a Crash Course that
will help you learn all of that and More!

Add Your Comments, or ask us more!

Best regards,
Peter.
